Kate Henshaw, Nigerian actress and fitness enthusiast, has taken to social media to celebrate her 50th birthday.
The movie star shared several stunning photos of herself on her Instagram page on Monday to commemorate the special day.
In one of the posts, Henshaw appreciated God for how far she has gone in life, adding that she would not have achieved such without divine backing.
“Never would have made it this far without the King of kings…the laughter and joy in my heart testifies of His goodness and mercies over me… I am highly favoured! This I know,” she wrote.
The actress also celebrated others who share the same birthday with her including Ibidun Ighodalo, the former beauty queen, who passed away last year.
Several movie stars have also taken to their handles to celebrate Henshaw on her birthday.
In a post, Shaffy Bello described the actress as “a gem and one in a million” while commending her heroics over the years.
“Happy Birthday my darling friend. You are a Gem. One in a million really. You say it like you mean it! People are often shocked when you do, but that’s what I love about you and drew me to you. You are a straight shooter and I love that about you,” she wrote.
On her part, Uche Jombo recounted how she had fallen in love with the actress on her first day on set about 20 years ago.
“I can write a book on the institution called Kate! I have loved her since my first day on a Nollywood set! That’s over 2 decades of knowing, learning, working and believing in her brand!” she wrote.
With numerous awards and recognition, Henshaw has established herself as a prominent figure in the Nigerian movie landscape.
