Armed robbers break into ex-banker Dauda Lawal Dare's Company, allegedly steals $12.6m concealed cash

Ex-banker and politician, Alhaji Dauda Lawal Dare is presently in the eyes of storm. His over 20 billion naira fertilizer company along Kaura Namoda road in Zamfara State has been burgled.

A reliable source told our news platform that the armed robbers allegedly broke into the famous Nigeria banker and politician’s factory and took away about $12.6m.

According to our source who is a senior staff of the company, “the said amount was starched into five Gubabi saves in one of the secret rooms withing the company.”

According to another source, former Minister of Petroleum, Diezani Allison Madueke was sighted within the premises of Mr. Lawal Dare’s company where the said money was kept together a week before she ran to the United kingdom in early 2015.

This was shortly before president Muhammadu Buhari assumes the mantle of leadership as the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Both Dare Lawal and Diezani have been linked together severally on shady deals that has attracted EFCC in many occasions.

At as the time of filling this report, the ex-banker did not respond to the series of phone calls put across to him.
