It is definitely not a good time for the Nigerian correctional service as reports making rounds have it that gunmen invaded a prison facility in Kogi state, killed people and freed inmates.

The last time a situation near to this happened was some months ago when gunmen stormed a prison facility in Edo state and freed inmates there too.

In Kogi, the gunmen killed to soldiers and freed about 240 inmates to the surprise of many.

Meanwhile, Primate Elijah Ayodele had warned in his annual book of prophecy titled warnings to the nations that he foresees prison break in Nigeria. This prophecy was a warnings to the Nigerian correctional service to fortify security in their several facilities across the country but it seems much attention wasn’t given to this prophecy.

Primate Ayodele on page 299 of Warnings To The Nation (2020/2021) categorically stated that he sees prison facility being attacked and that officials attached to the prison will be attacked too.

As earlier stated, two soldiers were killed at the Kogi prison before the jail was broken and about 240 inmates got freed.
