Nollywood stars lead protest against Radisson Blu Hotel over theft

Top Nollywood stars, including Jide Kosoko, Fred Amata, Yemi Solade and Mahmood Alli-Balogun, were spotted at a non-violent protest at the Radisson Blu Hotel situated on Isaac John Street, Ikeja GRA, Lagos State on Tuesday.

Other movie stars spotted at the protest instigated by the Audio-visual Rights Society are Yinka Akanbi, Grace Amah, Ejike Asiegbu and Sunny McDon as well as movie producers and directors.

Alli-Balogun, the AVRS boss, said the hospitality outfit has refused to pay for the use of their intelligent properties in their different branches.

He further said negotiations with the management of Radisson Blu has met brick walls, leading to the protest.

Alli-Balogun also alleged the hospitality outfit is owing the copyright collective society to the tune of N50 million.
