The Management of Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has warned against a certain fake website circulating false and misleading information about a non-existent recruitment exercise by the agency for 2021/22.

The agency in a statement at the weekend alerted the public that the said notice & publication are clearly fraudulent and should be ignored.

The statement reads in part: “NIMASA has no association or links whatsoever with such misleading and fraudulent platform or outlet purveying or publishing illegal notifications on matters of employment as there are laid-down procedures in line with the functioning of government agencies on such matters.”
