It was celebration unlimited today as Barrister Natasha Akpoti and her heartthrob, Chief Emmanuel Uduaghan, the Alema of Warri Kingdom tied the knot.
Akpoti, a politician, rights activist and socialite who was candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the last gubernatorial election in Kogi State, shared a dazzling video of her and her husband in a Facebook post earlier on Saturday with a caption, “This is the day the Lord has made.”
She had severally posted beautiful pre-wedding photos on her Facebook page, including a photo of her engagement ring on Valentine day.
The wedding, which had been trending in several social media platforms, finally happened at the residence of Natasha’s father in Ihima, Kogi State.
On February 25, she had invited the public to celebrate with her and her love.
“This is us, blended in culture, blessed in love. For God makes all things beautiful in his name,” she wrote on the occasion.
“Celebrate with us on Saturday the 5th day of March, 2022 at plot 101, Dr Jimoh Akpoti street, Obeiba-Ihima, Okei LGA, Kogi State.”
Present at the ceremony were Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, governor of Delta State, among other dignitaries, including Mr. Godswill Akpabio, Minister of Niger Delta Affairs; His Excellency, Emmanuel Uduaghan, former governor of Delta State, among several others.
Top celebrities like 2Baba, Iyanya, Oritsefemi amongst others were also handy to provide some entertainment at the wedding.
