Anita Joseph, the Nollywood actress, says Fisayo ‘MC Fish’ Michael, her husband, does not make decisions regarding their family without first getting her opinion.
The movie star gave her two cents on “successful marriages” in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
In the post accompanied by a loved-up photo of herself and her husband, she said having a mutual opinion on a decision works well in her marriage.
Joseph also said “spiritual connection” with one’s partner is essential in a marriage.
“He was my boyfriend before he became my husband. My husband never makes any decision without asking me first, he needs my opinion on everything. And trust me, it works perfectly. I do the same, I can’t do a thing without telling my hubby,” she wrote.
“These are one of the little secrets to a successful marriage. Spiritual connection between you and your partner is very important.”

Anita tied the knot with MC Fish in February 2020.
MC Fish triggered reactions on social media in April 2021 after he revealed he washes Anita’s underwear as an expression of his love for her.
“Before she makes decisions, she tells me. Before she posts anything, she tells me. What more can I ask of her? A woman that respects me and treats me like a king,” he said.
“I must respect her back. If I have to wash her shoes in public, I’ll do it. I’d I have to wash her undies, I will. It’s not like I’m not already doing it. I dey run am.
“If she dey wash my own boxers, why I no go wash her own pant. She’s my wife. At the end of the day, it’s no one’s business. Sometimes I wonder why all the negative energy.”
