The Nigeria media world has been thrown into a state of morning. The industry earlier on Friday, January 6, 2023 lost one of its most reliable hand, the Photo Editor of the Guardian newspapers, Femi Kuti gave up the ghost.

The ace photo journalist died at the Federal Medical Center (FMC), Abeokuta after a brief battle with illness that has to do with liver failure.

This medium learnt that Kuti died at about 2am on Friday, 6 January, 2023 while plans were at an advanced stage to transfer him to St Nicholas Hospital in Lagos.
