According to the news making making rounds founder and CEO of African Movies Academic Awards (AMAA), Peace Anyiam-Osigwe is dead.
As at the time of filing this report, it is very sketchy what may have happened, as everyone close to her, refused to pick their calls, but a former President of the Association of Movie Producers, picked and told us the story is true as it has also been confirmed by Zik Zulu Okafor.
We learnt that she was in coma at St. Nicolas Hospital, before she succumbed to death.
Auntie Peace would be remembered as one of those who shaped the face of the new Nollywood, as her contributions to the industry can not be overemphasized.
