1XBET Cup: Epe agog as Eight clubs trade tackles

Fans in Epe will be treated to the best of football artistry as the 1XBET Community Football Cup moves to the Odion Ighalo Sports Arena on today, Monday.

The Epe Conference will feature eight teams divided into two groups of four teams each with a winner expected to automatically qualifier for the final eight.

On Matchday 1, Panthers FC and De Porters FC will trade tackles in the opening game of the conference, while Ighalo FC and Perkins FC do battle in the in the second game of group A.

Third and fourth games would feature teams in group B, and it would be Ambassador FC versus De’ Elite, and B.E. Arena against Emperor FC, respectively.

Speaking ahead of the games, Engr. Waidi Akanni, who is the Coordinator and Consultant for the 1XBET Cup, express confidence that soccer fans within the community and its axis would experience great football moments.

“The good people of Epe Community are going to enjoy the best of grassroots football, just as soccer fans did at the Mainland Conference of the 1XBET Cup.”

“Moreso, the people would also experience, sweet and exciting mixture of glitz, glamour and unforgettable football moments,” Akanni, a former Nigeria international player,” stated.

Akanni added that there are plans by the organisers and of course, the sponsors 1XBET, to improve upon the organisation of the championship, even as it continues to excite, inspire and encourage the people enjoy their passion for football.

Epe community is renowned for its fishing culture. However, the people of the community would play hosts to thousands of football fans and grassroots soccer experts, who would storm the community, to fish for fresh talents.
