The political war between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has no doubt, taken another dimension.

For those who don’t know, Governor Fubara on Friday issued an executive order for the immediate and temporary relocation of the sitting of the Rivers State Assembly.

However, speaking on the crisis in Rivers State, amid his ongoing war with his supposed godfather, Wike, the Governor said; “Intimidation has a time, and when it expires, it’s over. Even in the bible, Pharaoh intimidated the children of Israel, but it got to a time; the intimidation did not work again.”

“Every bad thing that has a beginning has an end. Don’t worry about me – we have kept that behind; we are looking at the future.”

It would be recalled that the once political allies, Fubara and Wike’s political battle started in October, 2023.
