Group arouses excitement, gifts Food Box to Lagos residents

Residents of Amuwo Odofin community in Lagos were literally on a standstill as Yeloto Inc. in partnership with Symphony of Praise (SOP), held their ‘Food Box 2024 Project’ on Saturday.

The event, which took place at Arapasop Junction in Mile 2 Estate, witnessed a large number of people who came to benefit from the project.

The food boxes containing staples of rice, garri, seasoning cubes and some groceries were handsomely gifted to over 500 beneficiaries out of the pool of people nominated which would last them for this season of festivities.

President of YELOTO, Dr Yemi Olawaye in his remarks said the foundation stands elated to have been part of the initiative with SOP that brought smiles to residents of Amuwo Odofin community, noting that “people deserve to have a good Christmas.”

“The year has been a tough one, and YELOTO feels glad to put a smile on people’s faces.

“The collaboration with SOP is a wonderful one, and we are happy to be a part of this year’s Food Box.”

Nollywood act, Mr. Daniel Etim Effiong graced the charity showpiece which raised the excitement mode of participants with his entertaining act and photo rounds.

Effiong, speaking to the media at the event said that he was stunned with the energy, love, and reception he got at the event.

“The feedback that we got from this project has been wonderful. Immediately I got here, just the energy, love, and reception have been wowed. I celebrate all the parties that come together to put this initiative in place. Keep doing what you are doing because it goes a long way to putting smiles on the faces of people within this community.

“This season is a season of love, sharing, and keeping doing the good job,” he noted.

Some of the beneficiaries expressed delight and commended Yeloto Inc. and Symphony of Praise (SOP) for organizing the great initiative.

A beneficiary, Mrs. Omobolanle Ogundeji who lauded the organizers of the initiative, said “I am grateful to the organizers of this wonderful project. You people really took us by surprise, and I pray that the heavens shall surprise you all. The supporters of this great initiative, who came to give us succor by way of providing food for us, may they never go hungry in Jesus name.

“2025 shall be a joy of blessings for your members. God shall continue to uplift every one of you, grant you long life, riches, and the goodies that come from God. You will organize an event bigger than this come 2025. I appreciate all that you have done for me,” she prayed.
