The Ogun State House of Assembly has received a petition from Arc-View Investment Limited, alleging harassment, intimidation, and threat to life by popular prosperity Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo.

The petition, presented by Hon. Oluseun Adesanya, Chairman of the House Committee on Justice, Ethics and Public Petitions, claims that Pastor Ashimolowo has engaged in misconduct related to estate development at Bluestone Garden City in Mowe.

According to the petition, Arc-View Investment Limited had negotiated an agreement to purchase 285 acres of land from Pastor Ashimolowo, but despite paying for 135 acres, the pastor has allegedly forceably recovered the entire land, denying the company access. The petition further alleges that Pastor Ashimolowo has stationed thugs and touts on the land, who have intimidated, beaten, and assaulted Arc-View staff.

The company claims that Pastor Ashimolowo plans to sell the land to another company, refunding the payment for the 135 acres, which would constitute fraudulent intimidation. Arc-View Investment Limited has developed and delivered over 5,000 housing units in Lagos, Ogun, and Oyo states over the past six years.

The Ogun State House of Assembly has referred the petition to its Committees on Justice, Ethics and Public Petitions, and Lands and Housing, with instructions to invite both parties for further legislative deliberations.
