The former Sub-dean, School of Communication and Information Technology and former, Head, Department of General Studies, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Dr. Lucky Aikabeli, is to deliver the 2025 World Poetry Day Lecture of the Association of Nigerian Authors, Ogun State Chapter.
A statement signed by the State Chairman, ANA Ogun, Dr. Chris Omotosho, said the lecture will hold at the University of Ibadan Centre for Degree Programme, Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, on Friday, 21st March, 2025 beginning from 10 a.m.
Dr. Aikabeli , a publishing consultant and prolific writer with publications such as, _”Whispers: A Collection of Poetry,_ _Literary Appreciation and Oral Composition”, “Effective Communication :An Introduction”, amongst others, will speak on the theme for this year’s celebration, *Poetry as a bridge for peace and inclusion*. Dr. Aikabeli once served as Vice Chairman, ANA, Ogun Chapter.
Dr. Omotosho added that another celebration of the World Poetry Day will hold at Crescent University, Abeokuta on the 27th of March, 2025.
The ANA Ogun Chairman enjoined all lovers of poetry and literature to attend the literary events.
