As Nigerians gear up towards the next presidential election coming up in 2027, there have been a lot of political moves that are for and against the incumbent president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

While some groups of people are moving towards taking power from Bola Ahmed Tinubu by forming different alliances and mobilizing aggrieved politicians, other groups are moving towards cementing Tinubu’s hold on power to enable him to return to his seat in 2027.

Already, so much has been said about the coming election, which will decide the fate of Nigerians, and prominent among the statements that have been made are Primate Ayodele’s prophetic revelations regarding the members of the opposition, especially the People’s Democratic Party.

The PDP, which is the major opposition party in the country, is naturally expected to put up a good fight to wrestle power from the incumbent government but Primate Ayodele, in a prophetical statement in April revealed that some governors in the party will negotiate with the APC even against the presidential candidate of the party.

It would be recalled that Primate Ayodele earlier mentioned in the year that the PDP may end up not having a presidential candidate if care isn’t taken.

These were his words: “They need to run to God if not the party won’t survive 2027. PDP is dying with speed and those that can save the party won’t listen. In some states like Lagos, the party’s candidate will not see the light of the day. If care isn’t taken, PDP will not be able to produce a candidate in 2027 because there is a satanic spell on them. Important personalities will continue to decamp.”

Weeks after this statement, the prophet then mentioned some governors in the party that would not work for the presidential candidate but would negotiate deals with the ruling APC and further work towards securing a second term for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

These were his words; “PDP governors have been compromised. More of them will still join APC like Akwa Ibom, Enugu. Anambra and Oyo states will be negotiated; Osun will also be negotiated for the APC. There is nothing like the PDP governors’ forum anymore, the governors will all work against the party.”

Among the states he mentioned, the governor of Akwa Ibom, Umo Eno has declared his intention to decamp to APC and even warned his commissioners that failure to decamp with him to the ruling party would cost them their jobs.

Likewise, Osun state governor, Ademola Adeleke has been seen frilocking more with the APC folks. He recently visited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his Lagos residence with his elder brother and nephew, David Adeleke AKA Davido. Though the details of their meeting remain hidden but it would be connected to the 2027 election. It would be recalled that the defection of Delta governor was foretold by Primate Ayodele

Primate Ayodele has said that more PDP governors will still join APC, and out of the four he mentioned, one has declared, and another is most likely negotiating. The coming days may further confirm this prophecy.
