Lagos State League Super 4 to hold July 15 -18

The Lagos State League Super 4 tournament for the 2024/2025 season will hold between July 15 – July 18, organisers have said.

The four -day tournament which will involve the top two placed teams from both the Mainland and Atlantic conferences of the just concluded state league competition, will take place at the Legacy Pitch, inside the main bowl of the National stadium, Surulere, Lagos

The four clubs that qualified for the Super 4 in the Men’s State League are: Ighalo FA and Arubinjaga FA which both qualified from the Mainland conference while Young Strikers and Bucknor FC made it from the Atlantic conference.

In the women’s state league Victory Queens FA secured their place for the Super 4 with Aisha Yusuf FA from the Mainland conference while CATS Ladies and FC Phoenix advanced from the Atlantic conference.

The Super 4 promises another spectacle of top grassroots football as teams do battle in what will be a befitting finish to a fantastic season in the Lagos State League for the 2024/2025 season.

The league CEO, Wale Joseph has called on the teams to ensure they play by the rules and maintain a high level of discipline throughout the competition as any form of misconduct will not be entertained.

He wished every team the best of luck while hoping that the best team emerges as champions.
