Benin Republic to Host WAFU B U-20 Women’s Championship in November

The Benin Republic has been officially confirmed on Tuesday as the host nation for the second edition of the West Zone B Under-20 Women’s Championship.

The tournament is set to kick off on Nov. 3, and will run until Nov. 10, featuring top teams from the region, including Ghana, Nigeria’s Falconets, Niger, and the host country Benin, all vying for glory.

Morocco recently made history by winning the FIFA U-20 World Cup, defeating Argentina 2-0 in the final. Led by Yassir Zabraoui’s double, the Atlas Lions joined the exclusive club of U-20 World Champions, 16 years after Ghana’s triumph.
