On October 17, 2025, Princess Dr. Toyin Kolade, a successful businesswoman and recognized global ambassador for wealth and prosperity, observed the ninth anniversary of her mother, Mrs. Comfort Adejuyigbe (known as Iya Alayere), who passed away in 2016.

In keeping with her annual tradition, Princess Kolade assembled family, friends, well-wishers, and associates at her mother’s cenotaph located in her ancestral home in Ilesha, Osun State. This meaningful gathering serves as a platform for her to remember her mother while also extending a helping hand to those in need and connecting with her community.

Each year, Princess Kolade honors her mother’s memory thoughtfully and generously. This year was particularly poignant; as she entered the compound, she was overcome with emotion, reflecting on the profound influence her mother had on her life and career. A renowned trader during her lifetime, Iya Alayere imparted invaluable lessons that shaped Princess Kolade’s approach to business and philanthropy.

To celebrate the legacy of her late mother, Princess Kolade distributed a variety of raw food items; including rice, beans, garri, instant noodles and spices to attendees. She also feed over 700 of them with sumptuous meal in celebration mood. Acknowledging the importance of entrepreneurship, she also offered financial support to several artisans in need of startup funds for essential work equipment, thus aiding them in their quest for economic stability.

In a remarkable show of commitment to educational development, Princess Kolade announced the provision of 50 full tuition free scholarships for indigent students at the Aries College of Health, Management & Technology in Ibadan, Oyo State. The scholarships cover a range of programs including Medical Laboratory Technology, Public Health, Community Health Extension Work, Health Information Management, Health Care Technology, Computer Science, Mass Communication, Public Administration, Accountancy, Business Administration, and Estate Management. This initiative underscores her dedication to empowering young individuals from underprivileged backgrounds, enabling them to pursue higher education and contribute positively to society.

Princess Kolade’s philanthropic mission extends far beyond this single event; she has established numerous scholarship opportunities across all levels of education for students from various backgrounds. Her unwavering commitment to community development is evident in her efforts to bridge the educational divide, ensuring that deserving students with talent and ambition are not left behind due to financial constraints.

Concluding her emotional tribute, Princess Kolade reaffirmed her resolve to continue living a life dedicated to the service of humanity. She expressed her desire to expand the reach of her philanthropy, pledging to ensure more individuals benefit from her kindness and generosity. She also appealed to many rich individuals of Ilesha extraction to emulate her gestures as it would help alleviate poverty and also reduce overdependency on government for growth. Through these initiatives, she aims to uplift the next generation and foster a brighter future for Nigeria.
