Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, today played host to the management of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), led by the Chairman and Co-Chairman, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, and the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Rt. Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo, respectively.

The NCDMB is holding its 2025 Governing Council Retreat in Akwa Ibom State, which began on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Four Points by Sheraton, Ikot Ekpene.

In their separate remarks, the ministers said the choice of Akwa Ibom State for the retreat was due to its peaceful and secure atmosphere, stressing that the State has become a preferred destination for corporate bodies seeking the serenity and conducive environment needed for productive deliberations at retreats and other meetings.
