He noted that re-electing the incumbent governor, Prof. Charles Soludo, was a collective responsibility and urged eligible voters to sustain his good governance by participating in the election exercise.

He also urged them to see and take the governorship election as a core civic responsibility they owe themselves as such should exhibit  the spirit of patriotism by participating actively in the exercise.

“Soludo needs to be re-elected to avoid a break in the democratic dividends ongong in the state.

“I therefore advise the electorate to vote wisely in order to sustain and complete the development projects.

“This is also in view of the numerous achievements Gov. Soludo’s-led administration has made in all sectors of the state economy, especially his signature projects and development policies exemplified in the world class Government House and Lodge he built.

“The solid road infrastructure, free education, improved health care system, security architecture, youth empowerment and agriculture growth among others is a testament for his reelection,” he said.

Udeze advised Anambra people to see the exercise as a way to reciprocate the governor’s gesture by voting him en-masse.

He said that the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) had gained an unprecedented ground in governance in the state under Soludo adding that he deserves to complete his tenure to place Anambra in an enviable position in the country.

Udeze called the Ogbaru people to appreciate the fact that the governor started his work from their local government area immediately after his swearing in and should pay him back through their votes.

He enjoined the youths to shun acts capable of causing problems during and after the election.

The speaker urged the security agents to intensify security watch to ensure a peaceful governorship election on Saturday.
