The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has donated the sum of N10 million to support his church member, Udoh Emmanuel Ezekiel, who is battling chronic kidney disease and needs a transplant.

The donation was made on Sunday during a live service at his church when the prophet called the ailing member out for the purpose of fundraising.

Primate Ayodele described his situation as dire and one that needs urgent intervention from well-meaning Nigerians, especially from the government.

He also seized the opportunity to call on the governors of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno, to assist him in preventing untimely death.

Primate Ayodele stated that health is important and that beyond being his church member, he is a Nigerian who deserves to live to see his grandchildren and do exploits. He explained that he shouldn’t be allowed to die because of the ailment since there is a solution — a kidney transplant — requiring the sum of N40 million.

“On behalf of my ministry, I will be donating the sum of N10 million to make Mr. Udoh Emmanuel live again, but it’s not enough. He needs N40 million for a kidney transplant, so I want to use this opportunity to appeal to well-meaning Nigerians to give Emmanuel another chance at life.

“When the government supports a cause like this, it gives the people confidence that they have leaders who are interested in humanity. For so long, people believe governors and politicians don’t care about them, but this is an opportunity to show that politics doesn’t erase humanity. This is the time for our politicians to show that they still have human feelings.

“I am calling on the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to also look into this matter. You are the governor for everyone in Lagos, and one of your residents needs your help. I have done my bit by donating N10 million, but he still needs about N30 million.

“Likewise, the governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno — Mr. Udoh Emmanuel is from your state — he needs your help to survive this chronic ailment. He doesn’t deserve to die; he wants to live again. Look into it and assist him.”

While speaking, Udoh Emmanuel appealed to the general public, reiterating that he doesn’t want to die yet for the sake of his young family. He also appreciated the man of God for spearheading the cause for him.

“Presently, I have a kidney problem. I have been doing dialysis, but now the doctors have advised that I do a transplant, which is the final solution to the problem. It will cost N40 million, so I am making an appeal to well-wishers and government officials to come to my assistance to ensure I raise the money for the transplant because I want to live. I don’t want to die; my family is still young, I am also young, and I don’t want to lose my life at this time.”

“I want to appreciate Primate for spearheading this for me. I also want to thank everyone who has made contributions. May God not allow anyone to see this kind of affliction.”
