Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has congratulated former Ekiti governor, Mr Ayo Fayose on his 65th birthday, describing him as a courageous and visionary leader committed to the welfare of his people.
Sanwo-Olu, in a statement on Saturday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Gboyega Akosile, said Fayose remained a bold, devoted and passionate advocate of good governance, who left notable footprints in his two-term stewardship in Ekiti.
“On behalf of my wife, Ibijoke, my family, as well as the government and people of Lagos state, I congratulate Fayose, on his 65th birthday,” he said.
Sanwo-Olu described the celebrant as a courageous and experienced politician, who commanded respect not only in Ekiti, where he served two different tenures but also across the South-West and entire country.
“On this occasion of his 65th birthday, I wish ex-governor Ayodele Fayose sound health, long life and renewed strength as he continues to render service to humanity, Ekiti and Nigeria.
