Addressing the personnel, he expressed appreciation for their dedication, stating that their resilience had contributed significantly to stemming the tide of insecurity nationwide.

Shaibu reaffirmed that Nigerians remained expectant of the Army and the Armed Forces, assuring that the Army was doing its utmost to achieve lasting peace.

“This operational visit has taken me to various formations and units. This is one of the key formations participating in Operation Fasan Yama.

“My charge to you is to continue to carry out your duties professionally and remain committed to the mission before you,” he said.

The COAS urged the soldiers to uphold discipline, reaffirming the soldier-first concept, stressing that diligence at every level was essential to overcoming insecurity in the country.

He reminded them that the nation relies heavily on its young men and women to stand firm in the face of security threats.

“You have been well trained and well taken care of. The onus is now on you to do the needful, which I believe you will do. As we approach the new year, I urge you to stay focused and do your jobs properly,” Shaibu added.

The Army Chief further encouraged the troops to listen to their officers and support their leadership, assuring them that effective cooperation would enhance operational performance and ultimately secure better outcomes.

The Army Chief expressed optimism that the ongoing operations would begin to yield more visible results with sustained commitment from all personnel.
