President Bola Tinubu has forwarded three non-career ambassador-nominees to the Senate for confirmation.
ThemomentNG reports that the nominees are: Kayode Aare from Osun, Aminu Dalhatu (Jigawa) and Ayodele Oke (Oyo).
NAN also reports that the letter was read during plenary by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
Akpabio, thereafter, directed the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs to review the nominations and report back to the chamber within one week.
