An international educational consultancy organisation, UNIPASS, has commenced operations in Nigeria, with a commitment to expand access to quality higher education for young ones.

Speaking at the inauguration in Abuja on Wednesday, the Chief Executive Officer of the organisation, Alvin Atsegwasi, said the establishment of the organisation would attract foreign students to the country.

Atsegwasi said it would also create transparent and accountable pathways for students seeking opportunities abroad, while supporting vulnerable groups through targeted scholarship programmes.

He added that ”the organisation supports scholarship programmes targeted at people with disabilities.

“At UNIPASS, we don’t only support Nigerians going abroad, we also promote opportunities for foreigners to come and study here in Nigeria.

“We are proud to be part of this achievement. We are encouraging foreigners to come back to Nigeria,” he said.

Atsegwasi highlighted partnerships with local institutions, including the Isaac Balami University of Aeronautics and Management, as central to the organisation’s mission.

He urged young Nigerians studying abroad to contribute to national development, adding that UNIPASS would promote opportunities for foreigners to study in Nigeria.

He said the UNIPASS model would help to eliminate risks associated with unregulated study programmes and migration challenges.

He added that the organisation would collaborate closely with government and stakeholders to improve educational outcomes for Nigerian youths.

“UNIPASS is here to change that story. We will work hand-in-hand with the Nigerian government and all stakeholders to create the same structured and transparent pathway for our youth.

“Our promise to parents, communities and our dear Nigeria is very simple, we will get you there,” he added.

Also, the Co-founder of UNIPASS, Sanpreet Sehmi, said the organisation’s mission was anchored on ensuring equal access to quality education for all students, regardless of academic background.

“It proves that a world-class international standard is not something students must travel across oceans to find.

”It is something we can build, nurture and proudly offer right here,” she said.
