Nigeria’s first Professor of Education, Adamu Baikie, dies at 94

The first professor of education in Northern Nigeria, Adamu Baikie, has passed at the age of 94.

Adamu Baikie died Friday evening at his residence in Zaria, Kaduna State.

Prof. Baikie, a distinguished educationist, academic and university administrator, was a former Vice Chancellor of different Nigerian and foreign universities.
