In a condolence visit to the Bayelsa State Government, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo in company of other notable leaders, Chief Dr. Dennis Otuaro the PAP administrator, Chief Mathew Tonlagha, Barr. MacDonald Igbadiwei, Chief Paul Bebenibo, Chief Godfrey Pondi, amongst others, expressed his heartfelt condolences over the recent passing of the late deputy governor of the state, acknowledging the profound loss felt by the entire Ijaw community.

Speaking on his behalf, Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi elaborated on the deep bond that existed between the late deputy and the Governor, emphasizing that the deputy was not only a steadfast supporter but also a reliable and unwavering ally in the governance and development of the state.
Tompolo’s visit underscored the significance of their collaborative efforts, as he recounted stories of their shared commitment to working towards the betterment of Bayelsa, highlighting the deputy’s invaluable contributions that will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
Tompolo further pledged to consistently make himself available to ensure that a suitable burial is provided.
