Yvonne Jegede has finally addressed rumors linking her to Annie Idibia, making it clear that the speculated friendship is far from reality. In an interview with NaijaFM 102.7, she stated, “Apart from the video for African Queen, I don’t think anybody has seen us together before. We don’t have common friends.”
She further emphasized, “I don’t have a friendship relationship with Annie. I don’t know where they are getting that narrative from. Back then, I only walked into a studio, did my thing for the African Queen video, and left.”
Yvonne also revealed that she and Annie were never following each other on social media, putting to rest any assumptions that there was a bond beyond the music video shoot.
She also clarified that they have never followed each other on social media, saying, “I don’t understand where the narrative of us unfollowing each other is coming from.”
