Ndukwe said, “The names and mobile phone contacts of Area Commanders and DPOs are provided to enhance accessibility and facilitate prompt reporting.”

He added that the move would ensure rapid response to crimes and security concerns across Enugu State during the festive season and beyond.

“The command encourages residents to use Control Room hotlines 08032003702 and 08086671202, and Command-and-Control numbers 112, 09134666668 and 09134448093,” he said.

Ndukwe said the Commissioner of Police, Mr Mamman Giwa, urged residents, visitors and travellers to utilise the available contacts for timely security reports.

“Residents and visitors should promptly report security concerns or credible information to the nearest Area Commander or DPO,” he said.

He reaffirmed the command’s commitment to safeguarding lives and property, urging citizens to remain law-abiding, vigilant and supportive of the police.
