Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted at a surprise return to Europe.
Ronaldo remains in excellent form with the Saudi Pro League club.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner scored twice in the 3-0 victory over Al Akhdoud, bringing his career total to 956 as he strives for an extraordinary century.
Ronaldo had two spells at Manchester United while playing in Europe and also featured for Juventus, Sporting Lisbon and Real Madrid.
“It doesn’t matter if I play in the Middle East or Europe; I want to keep winning titles and reach the milestone everyone knows,” the 40-year-old said at a Dubai awards ceremony on Sunday.
