The Federal Government has started disbursing the ₦10,000 monthly stipend to beneficiaries of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI) for January 2026.
Reports confirm that trainees who completed their training and successfully uploaded their bank account details on the NDE portal have started receiving payment.
The January stipend payments commenced on January 8, 2026.
Some beneficiaries have already confirmed receipt of the funds, while many others are still waiting for payments for previous months.
A payment alert obtained by themomentng shows the transaction description as “NDE RHEI” with a credit of ₦10,000 paid on January 8, 2026.
The current disbursement is going to:
Trainees who uploaded their bank details correctly on the portal
Beneficiaries who are actively participating in training at their assigned centres
Those whose dashboard status has been approved
This latest payment comes after the NDE paid ₦30,000 in December 2025 to participants trained under the second phase of the RHEI programme.
Recall that in November 2025, the NDE directed all beneficiaries to upload their bank account details on the official portal using their Registration ID in order to qualify for stipend payments.
Applicants whose dashboard still shows “Pending” are not eligible for the January payment.
Such applicants are advised to continue checking their dashboard until their status changes to Approved.
Those encountering “Invalid ID” errors are advised to visit their state NDE office for assistance and correction.
Beneficiaries are encouraged to remain patient as the payment process continues in phases. More trainees are expected to be credited as their records and statuses are fully validated.
