Members and stakeholders of African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Bauchi State have expressed satisfaction with the leadership of the party at the national, North-East zonal, state, local government and ward levels.

Chairman of ADC in Darazo Local Government Area, Alhaji Abdullahi Hamza, made this known while addressing party supporters on Tuesday in Bauchi.

Speaking on behalf of the ADC chairmen in all the 20 local government areas of the state, Hamza said that the stakeholders unanimously passed a vote of confidence in the party’s leadership across all the levels.

He commended their commitment and efforts towards strengthening the party’s structures.

Hamza urged the party’s national leadership to continue operating strictly in line with ADC’s constitution and remain vigilant against the activities of individuals whose actions could create confusion, division or instability within the party.

According to him, such conduct is inconsistent with the values and objectives of ADC and must be discouraged to safeguard party unity.

Also, Mr Harsanu Guyaba, who spoke on behalf of the stakeholders, reiterated their belief that ADC remained a party in which Nigerians had placed genuine hope as a credible platform capable of addressing the country’s challenges ahead of the forthcoming elections.

Guyaba said that the hope could only be protected through discipline, unity and respect for party rules and structures.

He particularly commended the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr Lawal Babachir, for his leadership and strategic guidance in harmonising and strengthening ADC structures across the north-east zone.

“His efforts have contributed significantly to building a functional and solid party base from ward to state levels,” he said.

According to him, ADC has successfully established functional structures across all wards and local government areas in the state, demonstrating readiness for democratic participation and electoral success.

Also speaking, the party’s Women Leader, Asmau Aliyu, said that women in ADC were fully mobilised, adding that they had thrown their weight behind the leadership at all levels to ensure the party’s success in the 2027 general elections.

In his remarks, the State Chairman of ADC, Mr Hassan Haruna, commended the stakeholders for having such confidence in the leadership of the party at all levels.

He assured ADC loyalists of continued provision of purposeful leadership that would take the party to the next level.
