Hilda explained that while she believed she had only broken the record for the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice, it later turned out that the same meal also set a new record for the largest serving of rice overall.

With her earlier record for the longest cooking marathon already secured, the new confirmation means she now holds three Guinness World Records in total.

She described the discovery as shocking and joyful, saying she only found out months after the original announcement while casually checking her emails.

Hilda also credited her partner, Oreoluwa Atinmo, for playing a major role in the success, noting that the entire journey was built on teamwork and shared vision.

She thanked her team, Guinness World Records, and supporters for standing with her throughout the process, adding that the achievement is a special way to begin the year 2026.
