The All Progressives Congress has announced the death of Miss Chika Jewel Okparaeke, popularly known as Ada Buhari.

themomentng reports that the party expressed deep sorrow over her demise, describing her as a loyal supporter and active voice for the party on social media.

In a statement released on Saturday, January 24, 2026, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, said Okparaeke was a fearless and devoted defender of the policies of APC-led governments and played an active role in promoting the party’s message online.

The party said she was known for her courage, strong views, and steady support for the party, adding that her energy and commitment made her stand out among supporters in the digital space.

APC also described her as a hardworking professional who showed dedication both in her work for the party and in her personal activities.

The party also noted that her sudden death has created a deep gap within the party family.

The party extended sympathy to her family, friends, and members of the APC, saying her efforts in spreading the party’s ideas to Nigerians would not be forgotten.

APC prayed for comfort for those mourning her and asked God to grant her eternal rest.
