Akwa Ibom State Government flagged off the construction of the Ibom CNG Mass Transit Terminal at Ikot Ekpe Offot, Uyo. The world-class transport system that will ease movement, reduce transportation costs, create jobs, and boost tourism and economic activity across Akwa Ibom State.
The terminal will connect Uyo to all 31 local government areas, powered by clean and affordable CNG buses, with supporting facilities including gas stations, training centres, and hundreds of employment opportunities. This is about improving the quality of life of our people and building a transport system that works for today and the future.
