The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has continued his 21-day Thanksgiving programme with visits to the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Fayoade Adegoke, as well as more church members.

The three-week-long programme commenced on Monday, January 26, 2026, with visits to church members, and continued on Tuesday with further visits to additional members, police stations, the Ejigbo Local Government chairman, and other locations.

On Wednesday, the third day of the programme, Primate Ayodele extended his visits to more church members and AIG Fayoade Adegoke, a prominent figure in the Nigeria Police Force.

In the same vein, the prophet also visited several police stations and Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) offices, among others.

According to Primate Ayodele, the purpose of these visitations to security officers is to appreciate individuals who have been instrumental in maintaining peace and order in society.

He explained that, most times, these personnel are not adequately appreciated, even by the citizens they protect. He stressed that they deserve to be celebrated at all times for their commitment to safeguarding the lives and property of well-meaning Nigerians.

“The reason behind my visit to security officers across Lagos is to show appreciation for the work they have been doing for the state and the country as a whole. They are heavily criticised, yet they never stop carrying out their duties in maintaining law and order in society.

“Also, they need our spiritual support; the work they do requires spiritual backing. That is why I have taken it upon myself to pray with them and offer assistance in any way I can, because their success is our joy.”

At the homes of church members, Primate Ayodele prayed with them and presented financial and material gifts as a means of support and appreciation.

Among those he visited was Mr Emmanuel Udoh, who is currently battling a kidney ailment. It would be recalled that Primate Ayodele had earlier personally raised ₦10 million for him and also reached out to government officials to seek further assistance.

As earlier reported, the programme will conclude on Sunday, February 15, during which several philanthropic activities are expected to take place.
