The Action Alliance (AA) has commenced the revalidation of its membership across Nigeria’s North West region.
The party has also announced Danjuma Isah Bulama as the concensus candidate to take over the position of the National Treasurer of the party which has been vacant for a while.
The chairman of the party in the North West, Abdul Bashir Dankano, announced this shortly before a caucus meeting of the zone held in Kano.
“We are here for our normal zonal meeting of the Action Alliance where we center on three issues.
“First is the issue of revalidation of our membership card, which had been enhanced and modernized, such that it will be difficult to make fake ones.
“It behoves on all members to ensure that they validate their registration with the party and call on others to also register.
“Secondly, we want to announce that we have a concensus candidate from the Northwest zone to occupy the vacant National Treasurer position, in person of Alhaji Danjuma Isah Bulama.
“Finally, we appreciate the appointment of one of our Northwest chairmen as the Secretary of the Chairmen Forum of the party” he stated.
Although no fixed time had been announced for the closure of the membership registration, he indicated that they are ready to commence full.political activities in the region.
He noted that the party had fielded its candidates for the oncoming State Assembly bye-elections in the state.
