The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Olakunle Oluseye Nafiu, has arrived in Adamawa State ahead of the official flag-off ceremony for the construction of a new, modern NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, being built by the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
The foundation for the landmark project will be laid by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, during the official ceremony scheduled for tomorrow, 16th February, 2026.
The high-profile event will also feature the commissioning of other strategic projects across the state, as part of the President’s official engagement and developmental drive.
Upon arrival at the airport, the NYSC Director General was warmly received by the Director, North-East Area Office II, Jalingo, Mrs Aishatu Abubakar Adamu, the NYSC Adamawa State Coordinator, Mrs Osoroh Caroline Chinedu, alongside other members of the NYSC family and corps members.
