Business mogul and devout Christian, Evangelist Sir Innocent Chinedu Onuoha, Executive Chairman of InnoChris Group has died at the age of 71.
The family in a statement said he died peacefully in his sleep on December 11, 2025, in his Lagos home.
Also called Ogbuefi, a revered title, Onuoha, who was born in 1954, acquired higher education that adequately prepared him for his career.
An Evangelist in the Anglican Church, Onuoha hailed from Umuoma Umuaro 11 autonomous Community, in Isiala Mbano of Imo State.
A former secretary to the Chief Engineer, Flour Mills Nig Ltd, Onuoha was the Executive Chairman, Innochris Group which comprises Innochris transport, Innochris computers, Innochris spare parts (whole sale & retail).
A bridge builder and philanthropist Onuoha played leading roles in several development and infrastructure projects in his community.
Through his scholarship scheme many indigent persons went to school and got sound education. He similarly mentored many in apprenticeship to become business owners. Onuoha made impactful contributions to lives of widows and the less privileged as he gave lifeline, restored hopes to dozens of such people across the country without discrimination.
He is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
While arrangements for his final burial are ongoing, his family will announce the date.
