A Federal High Court in Ibadan, has remanded a man, Seyi Oluwasina at a correctional centre over alleged illegal drug deal.

Oluwasina, whose address was not given is facing a two-count charge of unlawful possession and illegal drug deal, to which he pleaded not guilty.

The prosecutor, Mrs A.A. Balogun told the court that the defendant committed the crime on Nov. 30, 2025, at Ojurin-Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo.

Balogun said that operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) apprehended the defendant in possession of 12.522kg of Cannabis Sativa and eight grams of Methanehetaine.

The prosecutor said that the offences contravened Section 11(C ) of the NDLEA Act Cap 30 Law of the Federation, 2004.

Justice Nkeonye Maha ordered the defendant to be remanded at the Agodi correctional facility, and adjourned the matter until March 20 for trial.
