FUTA alumnus Ifeoluwa Oyekunke wins Florida state university research and creativity award

An Alumnus of the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) Ifeoluwa Oyekunke has been adjudged winner of the 2025–2026 Graduate Student Research and Creativity Award f in Natural and Physical Sciences by the Florida State University, United States of America.

While informing him of the award , the University wrote: Florida State University is pleased to notify you that a selection committee, comprised of university faculty, has selected you to be the winner for the 2025–2026 Graduate Student Research and Creativity Award for the disciplinary category in Natural and Physical Sciences.”

The University also said it’s selection committee had an especially difficult task this year in choosing from an extremely well-qualified and talented group of candidates.

While congratulating Ifeoluwa Oyekunle (Hu group), for winning the FSU Graduate Student Research and Creativity Award in the Natural and Physical Sciences category, the University noted that ,”This is the highest graduate award given by the university.”
