The Lagos State Football Association (LSFA), in partnership with Cloud Sports Limited, has announced a media training programme for Media Officers of clubs participating in the state FA Cup as part of efforts to strengthen professionalism in football communication and promotion.
The initiative is designed to equip club media representatives with the necessary skills to effectively promote their teams while enhancing the overall presentation of football activities in Lagos.
According to the organisers, the training session will feature experienced media professionals who will share insights on modern sports communication, media management, and expectations for clubs during the FA Cup competition.
All participating clubs are required to nominate one Media Officer to attend the session. The training will also focus on building positive media relations and ensuring consistent professional standards in how clubs and competitions are showcased to the public.
The programme is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, after which the FA Cup draws will be conducted.
The partnership between the LSFA and Cloud Sports Limited forms part of broader efforts to improve the organisation, visibility, and media representation of football competitions in Lagos.
By investing in the development of club media personnel, the LSFA aims to strengthen the promotion of grassroots football and enhance engagement between clubs, fans, and the media.
