He noted that the President’s prompt fulfilment of his promise to reward athletes is both heartwarming and highly commendable.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a leader who matches words with decisive action. A true father figure who places the highest priority on Nigerian youths, consistently demonstrating through tangible results that the Renewed Hope Agenda is not just a promise, but a living reality,” he stated.

Israel also lauded the leadership of the National Sports Commission (NSC) for its forward-thinking initiatives, particularly the structured reward system for athletes and the youth appreciation tour.
According to him, these efforts reflect a renewed commitment to recognizing excellence, motivating young talents, and strengthening the nation’s sports ecosystem. He emphasized that sports, alongside education, remains a critical pillar for national development.

“Sports is far more than a recreational pursuit. It is a potent instrument for youth engagement, economic advancement, and national cohesion. When strategically harnessed, it has the capacity to transform lives and drive sustainable development across the country. I must specially commend my brothers, Shehu Dikko, Chairman of the NSC, and Bukola Olopade, Director General, for the exceptional work they continue to deliver tirelessly in shaping and empowering Nigerian youths,” the APC National Youth Leader concluded.

Israel further noted that the synergy between government support and institutional leadership is essential in repositioning Nigerian sports for global competitiveness while also creating opportunities for young Nigerians to thrive. He reaffirmed his support for ongoing reforms and initiatives aimed at elevating the standard of sports development in the country, urging stakeholders to sustain the momentum for the benefit of future generations.
