Wingu Africa has announced the launch of its Wingu Cloud Exchange (WCX) in Ethiopia, marking a significant milestone in the delivery of secure, compliant, and scalable cloud solutions tailored for East African businesses.
The newly introduced platform enables organisations in Ethiopia to store and manage their data locally, helping them meet regulatory requirements while benefiting from enhanced performance, improved operational efficiency, and infrastructure optimized for the local market.
According to Demos Kyriacou, the WCX sets a new benchmark for digital infrastructure in the region, providing businesses with the tools needed to innovate, scale, and operate with greater confidence.
The platform offers a fully integrated suite of services, including compute, storage, Kubernetes, and advanced security features. It also supports hybrid cloud environments, allowing seamless integration with global cloud providers while maintaining predictable, locally-based pricing.
The launch underscores Wingu Africa’s commitment to accelerating digital transformation in Ethiopia, strengthening the country’s technological ecosystem, and fostering a more connected, resilient, and inclusive digital economy.
