3MTT Nigeria has officially launched its Partner Network alongside a major partnership with the European Union, marking a significant step in strengthening Nigeria’s digital talent ecosystem.
The announcement was made at a high-level showcase event in Lagos, bringing together government officials, private sector leaders, and development partners to support the country’s ambition to scale digital opportunities for young Nigerians.
According to the initiative, the new Partner Network is designed to shift 3MTT from a fragmented set of interventions into a coordinated and scalable talent infrastructure, improving structure, accountability, and long-term impact across the programme.
The partnership with the European Union provides international backing for Nigeria’s digital skills agenda and reinforces efforts to position the country as a global hub for technology talent development.
Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani, described the development as the beginning of a new phase for the programme, emphasizing that it represents the foundation for scaling up national digital capacity.
The initiative underscores Nigeria’s broader strategy to expand access to digital skills training and strengthen its workforce for the global digital economy.
