The introduction of the Bankit Cards represents an expansion of the platform’s existing services, which already include instant transfers, seamless bill payments, and secure digital transactions. With the addition of physical and virtual card capabilities, users can now make everyday payments both online and offline without incurring extra costs.

Speaking on the launch, Kingsley Ezenwa, Head of Marketing at Bankit, described the initiative as a defining milestone in the company’s growth. He noted that the move goes beyond introducing a new product, focusing instead on removing barriers and deepening financial inclusion across the country.

He added that waiving both card and delivery fees reflects the company’s customer-first philosophy and its mission to build an inclusive financial ecosystem. According to him, Bankit users can now extend the platform’s value into everyday spending without any added financial burden.

As competition intensifies in Nigeria’s fintech sector, Bankit continues to differentiate itself through simplicity, affordability, and a strong user experience. Its rapid growth has been driven by its ability to respond to the evolving needs of consumers seeking reliable and cost-effective financial services.

Security remains a core focus for the platform, with advanced systems such as real-time transaction monitoring, multi-layer authentication, and robust encryption protocols designed to protect user funds and data.

Fully integrated with the Bankit app, the new payment cards enable a wide range of transactions, including ATM withdrawals, POS payments, and online purchases, while also allowing users to track and manage spending in real time.

With increasing adoption among individuals and small businesses, Bankit is positioning itself as a preferred fintech solution in Nigeria, contributing to financial inclusion and supporting the country’s transition toward a cashless, digitally driven economy.

The company says it will continue to innovate and expand its offerings, with a focus on delivering a smarter, safer, and more seamless banking experience now made even more accessible at no cost.
