Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay has declared that she no longer wants to be addressed with her former husband’s surname, Idibia.
themomentng reports that the actress was out enjoying her night when the club’s LED screen introduced her as Annie Idibia.
She quickly noticed the mistake and asked that her name be corrected to Annie Macaulay.
Annie later shared the moment on her Instagram Stories to show her reaction to the mix-up.
In the first post, she pointed out that she no longer uses the Idibia name and made it known that she prefers to be called by her original surname.
“Zenbah the other night … no Idibia,” she wrote.
A follow-up video showed the corrected display on the club’s screen, now reading Annie Macaulay.
She expressed her satisfaction with the change and made it clear that the new display was the right one.
“More like it … 1 Correct!!!”
