Before the merger, Musk owned about 42% of SpaceX and 49% of xAI. Following the deal, he is estimated to hold a 43% stake in the combined SpaceX–xAI company, valued at approximately $542 billion, making it his most valuable asset.

Musk also owns a 12% stake in Tesla and holds stock options in the electric vehicle maker, further strengthening his position as the world’s richest individual.

With this milestone, Musk now sits nearly $580 billion ahead of Google co-founder Larry Page, the world’s second-wealthiest person, edging him closer to becoming the first trillionaire in history.
