Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the ex-depot prices of Premium Motor Spirit and Automotive Gas Oil, marking its first downward price adjustment after several recent increases.

The latest pricing template released by the refinery on March 10, 2026, shows a significant reduction in the gantry prices of petrol and diesel.

According to the new template, the gantry price of petrol has been cut by ₦100 to ₦1,075 per litre, down from the previous price of ₦1,175 per litre.

The refinery also stated that PMS supplied through coastal distribution would sell at ₦1,050 per litre, reflecting a slightly lower price for marine deliveries.

The refinery further announced that the gantry price of Automotive Gas Oil, commonly known as diesel, has been reduced to ₦1,430 per litre.

This represents a reduction of ₦190 from the earlier price of ₦1,620 per litre.

However, the company noted that the quoted gantry prices do not include statutory charges imposed by the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority.

The price adjustment comes amid a recent decline in global crude oil prices, which has begun to ease cost pressures in the international petroleum market.

the understands that the fluctuation in the price of petrol has seen some filling stations supply their customers for as high as ₦1250.
