The Ministry of ICT and Innovation in Rwanda marked a key milestone with the launch of the Rwanda FinTech Centre, highlighting the country’s ongoing progress in digital finance.
Minister Paula Musoni emphasized that Rwanda has achieved over 90% financial inclusion, but the focus is now shifting toward scaling fintech innovation to address the needs of businesses and communities effectively.
During the event, Minister Musoni stressed the importance of moving beyond pilot projects to implement scalable fintech solutions that deliver tangible impact. She called for coordinated efforts within the ecosystem to ensure that initiatives grow systematically, fostering sustainable digital financial services across the country.
The launch of the Rwanda FinTech Centre is positioned as a catalyst for advancing the nation’s fintech ecosystem, supporting innovation, promoting financial accessibility, and enabling solutions that drive economic growth and community development.
